Zach and I are in Barcelona today… we didn’t make it to Andorra because it was too much of a risk to assume we could find a bus route to Andorra once we got here. We cancelled our reservation for Andorra and booked last night’s reservation on the fly.
Going way back in time, Monaco was nice! We enjoyed hanging out with the wealthiest of the wealthy. Cars like Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, even Aston Martins were everywhere—along with the biggest yachts either of us had ever seen! I took plenty of pictures for Robert and Phillip—be jealous boys!!
Funny story… in Nice the day before we went to Monaco, we were sitting on the beach in front of two German guys, and we ran into them in Monaco!! They had rented bikes for the day and bicycled over to Monaco. Small world over here.
Yesterday, our dreaded 12-hour travel day, was kind of a bore. We met two girls from Finland on our same route to Barcelona, and it was nice to tag along with them. As soon as we arrived in Barcelona, we booked our night train to Granada for tomorrow night, had some more McDonald’s (ha—perhaps it reminds us of home?), and managed to successfully find our hostel… not a repeat of Paris! Yay!
Now we are sitting in the “common room” of Yellow Nest Hostel in Barcelona, trying to make some decisions. So little time… so much to do!
